The Venerable Joan of Arc in her prison

If anyone wants to follow in my footsteps, let him deny himself, carry his Cross and follow me, for whoever wants to save his life will lose it and whoever loses it for me will find.
Matt. 16, 24.25.

Have mercy on me Lord, I am the reproach of my enemies and I am even a subject of fear for my friends... I am forgotten as if I were dead, but for me I hope in you
Lord!... I say: You are my God!... Ps 30, 12.13.15.

Verily, verily I say unto you, if the grain of wheat having fallen to the ground does not die, it remains alone: but if it dies it yields much fruit. John 12, 24.25.

O my soul! why are you sad?... why do you trouble me? Yes, I will go with the multitude of the just, I will enter with them into the house of God, amid cries of joy and canticles of praise, in the midst of the troop of Virgins transported with joy!
Ps 41,6,5:XNUMX

To

The Venerable Joan of Arc consoled in her prison by St Catherine vm (virgin, martyr)

I bless you, my Father, Lord of Heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the prudent and wise and have revealed them to the little ones. Luke 10, 21.

Blessed are those who suffer persecution for righteousness because the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to them. Blessed are the pure in heart because they will see God!... Blessed are those who
weep because they will be consoled!... Matt. 5

I have fought the good fight, I have finished my race, it only remains for me to receive the crown of justice!... St Paul 2 Tim 4,7-8.

You will be happy when people curse you and persecute you and speak all kinds of evil against you falsely. Rejoice then, and rejoice, for a great reward is prepared for you in Heaven!... Matt. 5, 11.12.
