My dear Godfather and my dear Aunt
I am writing to you to let you know how happy I will be on the second of July, the day of my first communion, and so that you may have the kindness to pray well for me so that I prepare myself well and I promise you, my dear Godfather and my dear Aunt, not to forget you on this beautiful day; I would be very ungrateful if I did, you have always been so kind to me that I will ask the good Lord to reward you for it and to grant you everything you desire and above all that he keep you [v°] for a long time.
I thank you my dear Godfather for the beautiful book you sent me for my first communion, I am very grateful for it, it will be a double memory for me; but I would have liked to see you with my aunt, my happiness would have been complete since Papa, Mama and my godmother (Pauline Romet) will be there.
Dear Uncle and dear Aunt, I embrace you respectfully.
