Letter from Mrs. Martin CF 100
To Mrs Guerin
13 may 1873.
I blame myself for not having written to you on Sunday, to give you news of Marie; I am however very busy today, but I am tormented to have neglected you and I leave everything to tell you that our patient is much better; she begins to recover. She ate the fillet of a cutlet at noon, without bread, and it didn't hurt her.
She still has a little fever in the afternoon, but very little. I hope that within a week it will be up for part of the day. It's a pity that I'm in such a hurry, I had so much to write to you. This morning I received a letter from my sister which speaks to me a great deal about you.
Farewell, my dear sister, embrace your little world for me and the great Isidore, on top of that!
