Dear sister
It was my intention to write to you before Lent (February 26) and not to leave you waiting until Easter.
I received news from Isidore on mid-Thursday which gave me great pleasure, I believe the good Lord will bless him; I had written to him on Monday to ask him to send us 10 Fr worth of quinine at cost price, for the missionaries, he did it immediately, with such kindness that I was charmed, he sent a large quantity, telling us that he was doing his part, but that NT h. Sr. the assistant who deals a lot with the missions is embarrassed to ask him for all the remedies she would need for her missions, that he would send them to her immediately and even at a loss, that he only begged her [ 1v°] to pray for his wife; and the next morning she made Holy Communion for him and his wife and recommended the missionary for whom these remedies were to pray for him. He also sent for me 3 small vials for the toothache, because I told him I had a strong inflammation, we kept one and gave two for the missions, it is really precious.
I advise you to ask him for you who have so many toothaches, the cessation of pain is almost instantaneous.
Your nurse is wrong to believe that your child will die, I don't believe it at all, although I have had no revelation; little children always have a lot of trouble in the early days, and I remember my brother only screaming for three months.
I think it is too early to put Marie at the Visitation, the pension is too high for a large family like yours, you have to wait until she is at least 12, only please take care that that she does not go with the good ones and that she is always close to you otherwise this ...
