From Léonie Martin to her mother. February-March 1874.
My dear little mother
I was very naughty yesterday. I never know my lessons. My aunt is not happy with me. Today was the outing, we have the whole [1 v°] day off and my aunt is going to take us to the garden today, we're going to have a lot of fun. Monsignor gave us one more day off for the Easter holidays. I'm very happy with that. I'll try to get the rosette.
The last time...
Are little Céline and Thérèse well? I'm waiting for the Easter holidays with great impatience. I'll try not to [2r°] make my aunt miserable because I love her very much and I'll give her a lot of fun to make you happy.
Goodbye my dear parents and all my family.
I will be very nice
Leonie Martin
