She struck the hour if desired
Who of Jesus, of the immortal Lamb,
Finally returns to you the beloved Wife,
Under the gaze of the Virgin in the cradle!...
The joyful Sky quivers with joy
Seeing you at your seventeenth spring,
Give in flower, to God, your youth,
So preserved from the breath of others!
Tender button, Jesus, from your dawn,
Blessed you, cultivated in his Heart,
But today, he finally sees the blossoming
His beloved, his delicate flower!
And this morning, half-opening his chalice,
He bathed her in the dew of Heaven,
Seeing her offer herself as a sacrifice,
So tender again, near Him, on the Altar!
Virgin forever, beautiful is your halo,
Ah! preserve the fragrance, freshness,
Of your white and celestial corolla,
Dear little Lily of the Child Redeemer!
Don't let, darling little flower,
Its purity never fades.
Remember that by becoming a host,
In Carmel you must not wither.
Jesus is more than your little Brother,
He is above all your celestial Spouse!
Give him better than the ephemeral flower,
Ah! give everything to this jealous God!
Always remain her humble favorite,
His beloved Lily, the Lily of his love!
Embalm Him, fervent Carmelite,
Of your virtues, every moment of the day.
In the sweet cradle of the Virgin Mary,
Your crown, ah! drop off tonight!
When the exile of this life ends,
On your front, we will come to see her again!
With love, the Virgin in her swaddling clothes
Wants to guard her with jealous care!
In the meantime, little Sister of Angels,
May you be crowned by the Bridegroom!
