We do not know what Sister Marie of the Incarnation thought of Thérèse, but she quickly made herself, after the death of the latter, a devotional image by cutting out a photo of Thérèse and pasting it on a photo of the garden that she loved it very much. This photo will be used for Léonie's profession image, then painted by Sister Marie du Saint-Esprit.
