Priest of the Foreign Missions of Paris

Born November 21, 1829 in St Loup sur Thouet, beheaded February 2, 1861 in Hanoi.

Thérèse made his acquaintance by reading his biography and his correspondence, rejoicing to find in him a young and joyful saint who loved his family. She composed a poem in his honor and kept his portrait under her eyes during her last illness.
