QUESNEL Albert-François Monsieur l'Abbé

Born July 16, 1858 in Lisieux, died May 11, 1935 in Ranville.

A neighbor of the Buissnonnets, her family was intimate with the Martin family. Himself, very gifted for drawing and painting, gave good advice to Céline. He would have liked to marry her, and even asked for her hand on April 9, 1888.

He therefore knew Thérèse in his childhood and adolescence.

It is to him that we owe the small painting of the "Chemin des Buissonnets", offered to the Martin Sisters, then at the Carmel, and kept at Les Buissonnets.
