PICHON Almire Father

Born February 3, 1843 in Carrouges, died November 15, 1919 in Paris.

A preacher of retreats, he came to preach in Lisieux in 1882. It was then that Marie Martin chose him as spiritual director. He met Thérèse the following year. He preached at Carmel in 1887 and 1888. That year, Thérèse, a young postulant, met him at Carmel where he appeased his scruples. Father Pichon returns as a preacher to Canada. Thérèse corresponds with him, as well as her sisters.
