Born January 25, 1848 in Paris, died January 14, 1927.
She is the daughter of François Macé, brother of Ste Thérèse's maternal grandmother.
At the age of 18, she entered the religious congregation of the Help of the Immaculate Conception, as a nurse. She was its Superior General from 1894 to 1919.
