LECONTE Victor-Alcide Father

died June 10, 1907 in Lisieux.

Ordained priest of the diocese of Bayeux in 1882, he was appointed vicar at St Pierre de Lisieux, then chaplain of the college of Lisieux, around 1890. He took part in the diocesan pilgrimage to Rome in November 1887. It was he who celebrated (under of a special power) the mass at Lorette where Céline and Thérèse attend and take communion. Back in Lisieux, Céline took him very briefly as confessor.
