Parish priest of Ménil-Hubert-sur-Orne.

A contemporary of Thérèse, he took part in the trip to Rome with the Martins.

In 1926, he wrote to the Carmel of his indignation that Father Ubald, a Franciscan, had used his name in his pamphlet written against Thérèse.
