REVERONY Maurice-Joseph Father

Born September 9, 1836 in Caen, died October 10, 1891 in Caen.

As vicar general of the diocese, he attended the visit of Thérèse and her father to the bishopric of Bayeux on October 31, 1887; he presided over the diocesan pilgrimage to Rome in November 1887 and introduced the pilgrims to Leo XIII. He plays a favorable role of arbiter between the Carmel and the superior, M. Delatroëtte, for the admission of Thérèse to the Carmel.
