Born February 2, 1850 in Clinchamps-sur-Orne, died November 28, 1920 in Caen.

On the occasion of an entry into the enclosure of the Carmel, with a contractor for work, he took two photographs of Thérèse after her taking of the habit, in January 1889. Then, he went to Les Buissonnets to take photos of Léonie and Céline with their father.
