Canon Regular of Prémontré, an order founded by Saint Norbert in 1121.

Born November 14, 1842 in Le Tourneur, died September 22, 1932 in Saint-Martin-des-Besaces.

A friend of M. Delatroëtte, he attended the vestments of Marie du Sacré-Coeur and Thérèse, preached retreats at Carmel in 1882,1890, 1896 and XNUMX. Thérèse confided to him her temptations against the faith. He revises and prefaces the "Story of a Soul" and obtains the imprimatur for it. He testified at both Trials.
