SIMEON Brother

Brothers of the Christian Schools, an order founded by Saint Jean-Baptiste de la Salle (1651-1719), in Reims in 1680.

Born in 1814 in Bourg-Saint-Andéol, died on January 4, 1899 in Rome.

He participated in the foundation of the French college in Rome where he liked to receive his compatriots visiting Rome. He received M. Martin in September 1885 on his return from Constantinople and in November 1887, probably without Céline and Thérèse, on an excursion to Naples.

He corresponded with the Carmel between 1890 and 1898.
