Oblate of Mary Immaculate

Born May 25, 1887 in Gonneville sur Honfleur, died August 10, 1964 in Fort-Smith (Canada).

Ordained a priest in Liège, he was assigned to the missions of the Far North in 1913 and entrusted his mission among the Inuit to his compatriot, Sr Thérèse of the Child Jesus, from whom he obtained notable graces. Forced to return to France because of his bad eyesight, he settled in Lisieux, and exercised for twenty years a ministry of confessor at the Pilgrimage of Ste Thérèse, Patroness of the Missions. Then he retires and realizes his dream of ending his days on this polar land that he evangelized.
