Born in 1877, died August 2, 1928 in Rome.

General Postulator of the Causes of the Society of Jesus. He was an ardent promoter of the cult of St. Thérèse and rendered notable services to her Cause during the Beatification and Canonization Processes. The Postulation of the Carmelite Order rightly appreciated this devoted auxiliary and made a point of associating Father Fajella with the canonical act of the recognition of the Relics of Thérèse, in Lisieux, in 1923.
