Jesuit

Born December 14, 1869 in Roubaix, died January 22, 1959 in Chatillon.

He was the Founder and Director of Popular Action from 1903 to 1946, very active in the social fields of Catholic Action, family problems.

Having discovered the message of Saint Thérèse, he propagated it as a preacher of Teresian retreats and through books. He was the author of the report on the request for a doctorate from Ste Thérèse of Lisieux at the Congress of Lisieux in 1932 and of the dossier addressed to Pope Pius XI.
