character

CORNIERE Joseph de Abbot

Born January 17, 1874 in Lisieux and died October 8, 1939 in Caen.

Son of Doctor de Cornière.

In 1892-1893, he made an unsuccessful attempt at the Redemptorist Novitiate then established in Chile. On his return trip, he crosses the Andes Mountains with a caravan to take the boat to an Atlantic port.

In fragile health, he spent a vacation at La Musse in 1894, at the invitation of the Guérins. It is on this occasion that the theatrical photos "Excentric Journey to the Andes Cordilleras" are taken.

Ordained in Bayeux in 1899, he maintained a correspondence with Sr Geneviève.
