character
ALLIOT Lucien Mr.
Sculptor
1878-1967
He created the first statue of Sister Thérèse in 1909 under the watchful eye of the Carmelite Sisters and Bishop de Teil. He maintained an abundant correspondence with the Carmel for the realization of the many other statues of Thérèse that he created. For example, the group of M. Martin and Thérèse in the Buissonnets garden is his work, as well as the statue of Thérèse in prayer, currently in the courtyard of the chapel.
He is seen here with his wife and two children.
