Before the Second World War, Lisieux had kept its medieval appearance, with many half-timbered houses. These old photos allow us to imagine the city as Thérèse knew it. Note among these photos the presence of the pharmacy of Isidore Guérin, Thérèse's uncle, destroyed in 1944.
