Remember that day, the most beautiful in life, when Jesus gave himself for the first time to your joyful soul, astonished and delighted to be admitted to the feast of the divine King of kings. Near the tabernacle adored by the angels, your place was marked, happy little child, and in the pressed ranks of these white phalanxes of pure children like you, you walked triumphant. Remember the echoes of heavenly hymns mingling with the scent of flowers and incense; Like a tender lute full of seraphic ardor, your voice carried harmonious accents to heaven. The banquet table was beautiful and adorned. Jesus Christ served you there a delicious wine, a mysterious bread, his body, his sacred flesh, the cup of his Heart full of divine blood. Remember the moment when your mouth, shy like a young flower at dawn, opened with transport, simple, pure and candid, to taste the sweetness of this first feast. Delighted with the fervor of your budding piety, the Word of the Most High, the Love of the Son of God came to unite with your soul, an enchanting union in which the Heart of Jesus set you ablaze with his fire. Remember this Heart, this love in flame, veiled under a fragment of mutilated wheat, for the first time it fed your soul with divine food, with immaculate bread. The Angels prostrated before the sanctuary of your heart which had become the temple of the Lord, moved to be witnesses of such a touching mystery, adored it tremblingly, jealous of your happiness. Remember. Remember that day, the most beautiful in life, when Jesus gave himself for the first time to your joyful soul, astonished and delighted to be admitted to the feast of the divine King of kings. Near the tabernacle adored by the angels, your place was marked, happy little child, and in the pressed ranks of these white phalanxes of pure children like you, you walked triumphant. Remember the echoes of heavenly hymns mingling with the scent of flowers and incense; Like a tender lute full of seraphic ardor, your voice carried harmonious accents to heaven.
