Jesus!...

To Carmel 18 Nov. 89.

                My darling aunt,

How time flies... It's already been two years since I sent you my Feast greetings from Rome, and yet it seems to me that it was yesterday.
During these two years many things happened, the good Lord granted me great graces... He also visited us from his cross, and at the same time He revealed to us all the tenderness He had placed in the heart of our dear Aunt...
What memories for me in this date of November 19, what joy when I saw this moment arrive!... It is always with the same happiness that I come to repeat to my dear Aunt all the wishes that I form for her; but I am wrong, I will not waste my time listing them, because I believe that an entire volume would not be enough for me...
If you only knew, my darling little Aunt, how your little girl will pray for you on your feast day, alas! I'm so imperfect that my poor prayers probably don't have much value, but there are beggars who by dint of importuning get what they want; I will do like them and the good Lord will not be able to send me away empty-handed...
It's four o'clock, I must leave you, my dear little Aunt, but I assure you that my heart remains with you.
Please, my dear little Aunt, remember me in memory of Madame Fournet, because I do not forget that it is her birthday. It goes without saying that I embrace with all my heart my dear Uncle and my dear little sisters.
For you my darling Aunt, I send you the best kiss from the heart of the smallest of your 7 little girls
