MARTIN Thérèse, Sister Thérèse of the Child Jesus

Jesus October 15, 1889.
My dear Aunt,
I can't tell you how much I was touched by all your treats!... It is my patron saint that I beg to thank you, filling you with her graces as well as my dear Uncle. I charge you to thank for me my dear little sisters Jeanne and Marie for their pretty bouquets and their delicious grapes.
My letter was interrupted by the arrival of a new gift, two magnificent plants for baby Jesus... Really, I'm too overwhelmed, I'd be confused if it weren't for adorning the altar of the child Jesus, it is doubtless he who undertakes to pay my debt to my dear parents. I don't know the name of the person who made this gracious gift to Thérèse's Jesus... if you know her, my dear Aunt, please show her my gratitude...
O my aunt, how I pray today to St Thérèse to give you back a hundredfold for all that you do for us. Céline, in her little festive letter, spoke to me of your kindness to her. I was very touched by it, but I was not surprised because I know all the maternal delicacies you have for us.
My dear Aunt, my heart is filled with sweet things that I would like to be able to say again, but I am obliged to leave you to go to Vespers.
I send you my best kisses as well as to my uncle and my 4 little sisters.
Your grateful little girl
