If you only knew how much you touched the heart of your Th.!... Your little pots are delightful, you don't know the pleasure they gave me!... Céline... Your letter made me good pleasure, I felt how much our souls are made to understand each other, to walk along the same path!... Life... ah! it's true that for us it no longer has any charm... but I'm wrong, it's true that the charms of the world have vanished for us, but it's a smoke... and the reality stay, yes, life is a treasure... every moment is an eternity, an eternity of joy for heaven, an eternity of seeing God face to face, of being one with him!. .. Only Jesus is; all the rest is not... so let's love him madly, let's save souls for him, ah! Céline, I feel that Jesus is asking both of us to quench his thirst by giving him souls, especially the souls of priests, I feel that Jesus wants me to tell you this, because our mission is to forget ourselves, to annihilate... we are so little... and yet Jesus wants the salvation of souls to depend on our sacrifices, on our love, he begs us for souls... ah! understand his gaze! so few know how to understand it, Jesus gives us the remarkable grace to teach us himself, to show us a hidden light!... Céline... life will be short, eternity is endless... Let's do our lives a continual sacrifice, a martyrdom of love, to console Jesus, he only wants a look, a sigh, but a look and a sigh that are only for him alone!... That all the moments of our life be for him alone, that the creatures touch us only in passing... There is only one thing to do during the night, the only night of life which will come only once, it is to love, to love Jesus with all the strength of our heart and to save souls for him so that he may be loved... Oh! make Jesus love! Celine! how well I talk to you... it's as if I were talking to my soul Céline, it seems to me that with you I can say everything...
