Dear lion, thank you, thank you!... What do you want the poor lamb to say to you?... Was he not instructed by you... Remember the time when, sitting on the big chair, holding me on your knees, you were talking to me about the sky... I can still hear you saying to me: "Look at the merchants how much they take pains to earn money, and we, we can amass treasures for the sky every moment without giving us so much trouble, we only have to pick up diamonds with a RAKE.”
And I left with a heart full of joy, full of good resolutions!... Perhaps, without you, I would not be at Carmel!...
Time has passed, since those happy moments spent in our sweet nest... Jesus came to visit us... He found us worthy to pass through the crucible of suffering...
Before I entered Carmel, our incomparable Father said when giving me to the good God: "I would like to have something better to offer to the good God." Jesus listened to his prayer... that something better was himself!... What joy for a moment of suffering... It is the Lord who did this... And the Lord loves incomparably better Papa than we love him. Papa is God's little child; the good Lord, to spare him great suffering, wants us to suffer for him!...
It is up to us to thank him!...
Darling lion, life will pass very quickly, in Heaven we will not care to see that all the relics of Les Buissonnets will have been transported here and there!... What does the earth matter?...
