I haven't seen the lamb all day but I know he has a bad headache, it hurts the lamb who is very afraid that Jesus will make the lamb grow wings!. .. What delightful lines!... It's ethereal, it smells of the Fatherland!... The lamb is mistaken in believing that Jesus' toy is not in darkness, it is immersed there. Perhaps, and the lamb agrees, this darkness is bright but despite everything it is darkness... His only consolation is a very great strength and peace, and then he hopes to be as Jesus wants, that is his joy, because otherwise everything is sadness... At Our Mother, I am constantly disturbed, and then when I have a moment, I cannot tell her what is going on in my soul, I leave without joy, after to have entered without joy!...
I believe that the work of Jesus during this retreat was to detach me from everything that is not him...
If you only knew how great my joy is to have none to please Jesus!... It is refined joy (but not felt at all).
Dear lamb, only one day left to be the bride of Jesus!...
Don't die just yet, wait for the lamb to have wings to follow you...
Therese of the Child Jesus, little Toy of Jesus!-

Will you please give me: 1° your Indian ink and gold; 2° tell me if for my little images of the taking of the habit the responses of St. Agnès are suitable; 3° half open our door at 6 am if you are there, otherwise I will wake up fine alone. If all these things bother you, don't give me anything, I can do without them.
