Cherished Lion of Jesus, the little lamb really needs to borrow a little strength and courage from you, this courage which makes the Lion overcome everything!... The poor little lamb cannot say anything to Jesus and above all Jesus does not say nothing, pray for him so that his retirement pleases the heart of the one who ALONE reads in the depths of the soul!...
Why look for happiness on earth, I admit that my heart has a burning thirst for it, but it sees clearly, this poor heart, that no creature is capable of quenching its thirst, on the contrary, the more it drinks from this enchanted spring the more his thirst becomes ardent!... I know another spring, it is the one where after having drunk one is still thirsty, but with a thirst which is not panting, which is on the contrary very sweet because it has something to satisfy, this source is the suffering known to Jesus alone!...
