Thanks to the darling lamb for making the lamb hear again the music of Heaven. The sweet zephyr [zephyr] gently moved the little reed...
It was past 9 o'clock when the reed saw the cherished little paper, it had no light from the earth, but its heart more than its eyes knew how to decipher the music of Ste Cécile; He didn't miss a single word!...
Yes, I desire them, these pangs of the heart, these pinpricks of which the lamb speaks; what does it matter to the little reed to bend, it is not afraid of breaking, for it was planted at the water's edge; instead of going to touch the ground, when it bends it encounters only a beneficent wave which strengthens it and makes it desire that another storm comes to pass over its frail head. It is his weakness that gives him all his confidence, he cannot break because, whatever happens to him, he only wants to see the gentle hand of his Jesus... Sometimes the little gusts of wind are more unbearable to the reed than the big storms, because then he will dip again in his beloved stream, but the little gusts of wind don't make him bend low enough, they are pinpricks...
But nothing too much to suffer to conquer the palm...
