I hope that Sr. Geneviève has consoled you, it is the thought that you no longer have any pain that makes mine disappear!... Ah! that we will be happy in Heaven, then we will participate in the divine perfections and we will be able to give to everyone without being obliged to deprive our dearest friends!... The Good Lord did well not to give us this power on earth , perhaps we would not have wanted to leave her, and then it is so good to recognize that He alone is perfect, that He alone must be enough for us when He pleases to remove the branch that supported the little bird ! The bird has wings, it is made to fly!
