I'm afraid I've hurt my little Mother... Ah! I who would like to be his little joy, I feel that I am on the contrary his little pain...
Yes, but ! when I am far from this sad land where the flowers wither, where the birds fly, I will be very close to my dear Mother, to the Angel whom Jesus has sent ahead of me to prepare the way for me, the way that leads to heaven, the elevator which was to raise me without fatigue to the infinite regions of love... is my little Mother who will rise where I will be... Oh! if I knew how to express what I think like her, if I knew how to tell her how much my heart overflows with gratitude and love for her, I believe that I would already be her little joy even before being far from the sad earth.
Dear little Mother, the good you have done for my soul, you have done it for Jesus because He said: What you will do to the least of mine, you will do it to me. you will have done... And it is I who am the smallest!...
