Text of the envelope: Sending of the Blessed Virgin To my Cherished Child without asylum in a foreign land.

                My darling little girl,

If you knew how much you delight my heart and that of my little Jesus, oh! how happy you would be!... But you don't know, you don't see and your soul is in sadness. I would like to be able to console you, if I don't, it's because I know the price of suffering and anguish of the heart. O my darling child! if you only knew how much my soul was plunged into bitterness when I saw my tender husband St Joseph come back to me sadly without having found a hotel.
If you want to endure in peace the ordeal of not pleasing yourself, you will give me sweet asylum, it is true that you will suffer since you will be at the door of your home, but do not fear, the more you will be poor, the more Jesus will love you, He will go far, very far to look for you, if sometimes you go astray a little. He would rather see you bump into the stones of the road in the night than walk in broad daylight on a road strewn with flowers which could delay your progress. I love you, oh my Céline, I love you more than you can understand...
I rejoice to see you desire great things and I am preparing greater things for you... One day you will come with your Therese to beautiful Heaven, you will take your place on the knees of my beloved Jesus and I I will also take you in my arms and I will shower you with caresses because I am your Mother, your dear Mama.
