GUERIN Marie, Sister Marie of the Eucharist

At Les Buissonnets. Saturday, June 26, 1886
            My dear little Mary,

I thank you very much for having been kind enough not to be angry with me for not having written to you, so I hurry very quickly to answer your nice little letter, you cannot imagine how much it made it fun. I'm glad you're feeling better and having a lot of fun. I don't know anything new in Lisieux that I can teach you, I only know that we are all well.
You asked me in your letter to give you news of Madame Papinot; she is doing very well and often inquires about your health, for the lessons they are still going very well, they have been increased for some time, that is why I could not write to you on Sunday. I'm very happy because tomorrow I'll be in white for the procession Marie tried my things on me and they fit me very well.
My dear little Marie, I charge you to kiss very hard for me, my good little aunt and my darling little Jeanne.
Goodbye my darling little cousin excuse me if my letter is badly done and badly written it is because I was in such a hurry and I did not have time to make a draft. Céline asks me to kiss you well as well as Jeanne and my aunt; I haven't done your errand to Pauline yet, but I'm going to do it for her this afternoon. Your little cousin who loves you with all her heart
