Jesus

The 11 October 1894

                My dear little sister,

How happy I am that your feast day is now on the same day as mine... I am sure that Saint Thérèse will shower you with her graces on the 15th, I will be praying for you as well as Blessed Marg. Married...
If you knew, my dear little Sister, how much we pray for you!... And above all how we offer sacrifices, I believe that you would be very touched... Since we know of your trials our fervor is very great, I sure, all of our thoughts and prayers are with you.
I have great confidence that my dear little Visitandine will emerge victorious from all her great trials and that she will one day be a model nun. The good Lord has already granted her so many graces, could he abandon her now that she seems to have arrived at port?... No, Jesus is sleeping while his poor wife struggles against the waves of temptation, but we are going call upon Him so tenderly that He will soon awaken, commanding the wind and the storm, and calm will be restored...
Darling little sister, you will see that joy will follow trial and that later you will be happy to have suffered; besides, the good Lord visibly supports you in the person of your GOOD Mothers who never cease to lavish on you their care and their tender and maternal advice.
I beg you, my dear Sister, to remember me in their religious memory, and you, my dear Thérèse, believe in the ever-increasing tenderness of your little Sister.
