                My dear sister,

I was very touched by your letter, and I thank you for the prayers you have made for me. For my part, I have not forgotten you and I have commended all your intentions to God.
Here I am, at last, completely devoted to Jesus; despite my indignity He was good enough to take me for his little wife. Now I must give her proofs of my love and I am counting on you, my dear Sister, to help me thank Our Lord.
Both of us have received great graces, and soon, I hope, the same bond will unite us forever to Jesus.
I had the happiness of receiving the blessing of the Holy Father for the day of my Profession. The monk who procured it for me wrote to me how numerous the enemies of the Church are, in Rome the struggle does not cease for a moment with regard to our Holy Father the Pope. It's sad...
How good it is to be a nun to pray and appease the justice of God, yes the mission entrusted to us is very beautiful and eternity will not be long enough to thank Our Lord for the part He has given us.
My dear Sister, I recommend to your prayers my dear Father, so tried by the cross and so admirable in his resignation. I also dare to commend myself to the prayers of your holy community.
Please believe, my dear Sister, in all the religious affection of the one who is so happy to say

Your little Sister Thérèse of the Child Jesus rel.carm.ind.
