Jesus

Darling little lamb, my heart follows you in solitude, you know "light lark" that you have a thread in your paw, and however high you climb you will have to carry your burden... but a grain of sand is not heavy, and then it will be lighter if you ask Jesus... Oh! how he desires to be reduced to nothing, to be unknown to all creatures, poor child, he desires nothing more, nothing but FORGIVING... not contempt, insults, that would be too glorious for a grain of sand. If we despised him, we would have to see him. But OBLIVION!... Yes I desire to be forgotten, and not only by creatures but also by myself, I would like to be so reduced to nothingness that I have no desire... The glory of my Jesus , that is all ; for mine, I leave it to him, and if he seems to forget me, well! he is free, since I am no longer mine, but his... He will get tired of making me wait sooner than I will of waiting for him!...
Dear Lamb, do you understand?... Understand everything, even what my heart cannot express. You who are a luminous torch that Jesus gave me to illuminate my steps in the dark paths of exile, have pity on my weakness, hide me under your veil so that I may share in your light... Say it is up to Jesus to look at me, that the beauties of the night penetrate with their luminous rays the heart of the grain of sand, and if it is not too much, also ask that the Flower of flowers half-open its corolla and that the melodious sound which escapes make his mysterious teachings vibrate in my heart... Dear Lamb, do not forget the grain of sand!...
