the Carmel

The choir, place of liturgical and silent prayer for the whole community.

The choir when we entered it

The choir when we left it

One of the stalls occupied by Thérèse - the third from the door

The decorated choir, as was done for a taking of the habit, where the young novice prostrated herself during the song of the Veni Creator. For Thérèse, Bishop Hugonin intoned the Te Deum by mistake. Same thing for taking sail.

The gate of the communicatory, with the door ajar, which is behind the closed door under the statue of St Joseph in the photo on the right.

The open door next to Marie Guérin overlooks the courtyard.
